Scarlett Andrews fell in love with both Alaska and romance novels while on a cruise through Alaska’s gorgeous Inside Passage, experiencing both for the first time while on an anniversary cruise with her husband.  As always when on vacation, she began dreaming of her ideal job.

“You know, I think I’d really love to write romance novels,” she said to her husband.

“Do it,” he said, and a dream was born.

Of course, she had no idea how hard it would be and how much there would be to learn, but as a true romantic, she thought making up love stories and giving people their happily ever afters was just about the most rewarding way she could possibly spend her time.

She decided to set her first series in the idyllic, fictional city of Golden Falls, Alaska, and build it around eight heroic firefighters, and she invites you to join in their journeys as they find their forever loves.
